how to make a christmas list 101...or god i am a genius!

every year phillip and i have the same conversation...

me: what do you want for christmas?

phillip: nothing.

me: you know i am going to get you something so tell me what you want so i will buy something you will actually use.

phillip: really, don't get me anything.

me: sigh

so i end up getting him clothes, colonge, shoes, tools and crap like that...he gets the same things year after year. although this year i did buy him a remote control car that i know he was secretly WAY happy about...

then there is the whole what he is going to get me conversation...

phillip: what do you want for christmas?

me: oh dont get me anything (of course i dont mean it...but it is the obligatory first response)

phillip: yes you do...want do you want...

me: um well...i would like an iPod, i would love a new dell notebook, or maybe even some new clothes, and some new cookware...(really i could go on and on)

he always goes shopping ON CHRISTMAS EVE so i get the stuff that has been picked over and rummaged through hehe....anyway for the last few years i have told him things to buy and he goes and gets stuff...let me just add that he does a marvelous job!! ;P but i have ended up returning more things than i keep...

so this year i came up with a plan.

i got online...and found all of the things that i wanted...cut and pasted pictures of them with complete descriptions and directions to where they could be found....and gave the list to him...he looked at me and laughed...took the list...and went shopping...

this year i got all of the things on my list and even a few things that werent on the list! i cant wait til next year...you better believe that i will have a detailed list including pictures to hand over when phillip says.....so what do you want for christmas?
